Confirming Appointment

Steps:

    Call patient to confirm appointment.

    Right click on the appointment.
  3. 3

    Select confirmation.
  4. 4

    Select the appropriate response from:

    • Confirmed
    • Unconfirmed
    • Sent email
    • Left message
    • No answer
    • Phone busy
    • Waiting for callback
    • Other

    Before confirming lab cases, confirm that the case is in the office. If it is not, call the lab to get an estimated delivery. Call the patient and inform them of the situation and reschedule the appointment at an appropriate time. Bring up all cases for the next day and set by front desk staff.
