Here at Deluxe Dental, we rarely call in prescriptions over the phone. We prefer to print them out, have the doctor sign them, and give them directly to the patient.

Steps:

   Confirm the drug prescribed with the assistant.

   Double click on the patient’s appointment then click on the prescription tab.

   Select “New” on the screen shown below.

   Select the appropriate drug prescribed under the template drop box (not the drug drop box).

   Click Print (DO NOT SAVE).

   Have the prescribing doctor sign, then cut in half and give to the patient.
